Using AskTheCode is a breeze. Simply find the GitHub repository you're interested in, whether it's a project you're currently working on or a new codebase you're trying to learn. Once you've located the repository, copy the URL of the repository from your browser's address bar.

Next, return to the chat conversation with AskTheCode and paste the copied URL directly into the chat. The plugin will then begin its analysis of the repository based on the provided URL.

From here, you can ask the plugin any questions you have about the repository. You may want to inquire about the structure of the repository, the contents of specific files, or any other details you're curious about. The plugin will diligently analyze the repository and provide you with a helpful answer.

After posing your question, simply wait for the response from AskTheCode. The plugin will take a moment to analyze the repository and generate a response for you. It will compile a comprehensive list of all the files within the repository, allowing you to quickly navigate through them. 1. Logging into ChatGPT

To start using AskTheCode, first, ensure you are logged into your ChatGPT account. Visit the ChatGPT website and enter your login details to access your account.

2. Accessing the GPT-4 Plugin

If you are not subscribed: To access plugins like AskTheCode, you need to be a ChatGPT Plus subscriber. If you are not, click here to subscribe.

If you are subscribed: Navigate to the top of the page and click on "GPT-4." Then select "Plugins" and click on the label stating "No plugins enabled" to open the plugin store.

3. Finding AskTheCode

In the plugin store, use the search field to find the plugin. Type "AskTheCode" and press enter. You can refine your search using various filters such as release date or popularity to find other tools as well.

4. Enabling AskTheCode

Once you locate the plugin in the store:

Click "install" to add it to your ChatGPT. Return to the dashboard. Click on "GPT-4" at the top of the page. Choose AskTheCode from your list of installed plugins to activate it.

5. Getting Started
